RETREAT ON TALBOT is a 4 bedroom holiday home, updated with modern furnishings. Accommodates up to 9 guests, within walking distance to shops, hotel and beach.

Kitchen with fridge/freezer, electric oven/stove top, microwave, kettle, toaster, Espressotoria coffee machine (BYO pods), electric frypan, deep fryer, toastie machine, air fryer, slow cooker, rice cooker, blender, kids cups/plates, island bench with 3 stools.
Dining area with table and chairs, CD/Blue tooth stereo, reverse cycle split system air-conditioner. Lounge area with L shaped lounge, large circular chair, coffee table, large Smart TV.

Main bedroom with Smart TV and ceiling fan, 2nd and 3rd bedrooms with ceiling fan, 4th bedroom with pedestal fan.

Bathroom with vanity, walk-in shower, full size bath, w/c.
Laundry with 7kg front loading washing machine, laundry trough, stick vacuum.

Rear yard with paved area, large outdoor table and chairs, large flat top gas BBQ, clothesline.

Fish cleaning facility.

Shed or rear separate room not for guests use.

Port Vincent is the ideal location for fishing, boating and sailing, it also offers a variety of shops, cafe`, take-away & excellent hotel dining facilities.

Bed configuration - bed 1 - king, bed 2 - double, bed 3 - double, bed 4 - 1 x bunk plus 1 single.

Pillows and quilts are provided you will need to bring your own linen - pillow cases, top/bottom sheets, towels/bath mat and tea towels.

Linen can be hired - $44 for king bed, $38.50 for double per bed, $27.50 for single per bed. Linen includes pillow cases, top/bottom sheets, 1 towel per person, 1 bath mat per bathroom and tea towels, beds will be made up for your arrival. If you would like to hire linen you will need to let office staff know and total cost will be added to your booking manually by office staff.

  Good points – Dog friendly with an outside dog bed our dog loved to crash on. Location was an easy walk from shops and beach. Nice and quiet - there was very little road traffic any time of the day, and the neighbouring homes were quiet. Lots of room out the front for cars / trailer / boat. The inside was clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The kitchen was well fitted out with appliances, utensils, cutlery, plates, bowls etc. and basic condiments / staples. The TV and air conditioning made the family area a good place to retreat to on the hot afternoons. The circle shaped chair in the family area was a favourite of the younger adults. The backyard was nice in the mornings when the house provided shade.
  The not so good – Back patio was unusable after mid-morning, due to the missing shade sail, and this also made the rear bedrooms very hot from afternoon sun. Similarly, no curtain over rear door resulted in a lot of heat coming in and sun glare for anyone at end of dining table with no ability to block out light. The new dual layer curtains in most rooms were appreciated but it did mean that the windows could be opened only a tiny bit before the curtain rails banged on the window frames.
  Overall – We did enjoy our stay and would stay again, especially if the issues above were addressed.

  Lovely place. Plenty of space inside and an adequate backyard for our large pooch. The kids all had their own rooms which they loved. The master bed was very comfortable. Short walk to the beach, park and shops. Loved that there is an adequate supermarket local too. Some beaches on that side of the Peninsula are very 'gravelly' but Port Vincent had a nice sandy beach for the most part.
