Captain's Quarters

CAPTAIN'S QUARTERS is a comfortable 3 bedroom holiday home that accommodates up to 8 guests and is only a short walk to the Tavern. Sea views from lounge and front verandah.

Open plan kitchen with fridge/freezer, freestanding electric oven, microwave, air-fryer, DeLonghi coffee machine (BYO pods), dining with high chair, lounge with large TV, DVD,VHS, split system reverse cycle air-conditioner. PLEASE NOTE - wood heater in lounge photo is not for use - out of order.

Sunroom with outdoor table, lounge suite, bathroom with vanity, walk-in shower, full size bath, separate w/c. Laundry with top loading washing machine and dryer.

Outdoor setting on front verandah. Small shed for guests use. Fish cleaning facility.

Point Turton has an excellent boat ramp and jetty for those keen fisherman! There is also a general store where you can buy delicious pastries, take away foods, general grocery items, ice, bait and fuel. You can also enjoy a lovely meal at the Tavern On Turton.

Bed configuration - bed 1 - queen, bed 2 - queen, bed 3 - 2 x bunk beds

Pillows and quilts will be provided, you will need to take your own linen - pillow cases, top/bottom sheets, towels/bath mat and tea towels.

No smoking inside

High - all other school holidays plus long weekends: 3 night minimum stay
$180 per night
Off Peak - school terms: 2 night minimum stay
$150 per night

  OK, in no particular order. Plenty of space for our group. Generally comfortable, but aging. A/C struggled. Bedrooms hot with little circulation. Cleaning fee of $300 exorbitant!! Kitchen sink tap very loose. Shower did not spray at the pressure we ran it to preserve rain water. Windows rattled in the wind. Loved rain water. Great views from front verandah. Overpriced for what the place delivered.

    Hi Dennis , The Cleaning Price is not $300, the refundable bond is, the cleaning price is $110. Just thought I would clarify this for any other people reading this review. :) The above maintenance issues have been addressed. The winds at Point Turton for this particular stay were very strong.

  We had a lovely stay at Captains Quarters. The house was perfect and could easily sleep 8. It was very comfortable and the views were perfect.Great outdoor area as well. We would definitely stay again. Check in was super easy.

  We have stayed at Captain Quarters several times. Suits our needs. Secure garden. Quiet and lovely views. We did prefer the previous reclining lounge suite. Replacement is not very comfortable.

  Great location & view but there was no flyscreens on the front windows which was very disappointing as fresh air is important without getting mosquitos & flys in the house. There was a few items under the bunk bed so this room had not been cleaned properly. This was disappointing considering they had put the cleaning fees up & we left the property cleaner than we found it.

  The title explains it all, we are regulars at the Captains Quarters. Very cosy and comfy. It's a shame the wood heater is out of action, but reverse cycle does the job. Great for the dog with the fully enclosed yard. Great views over the bay. Oven door needs fixing. We will return

  A very homely house with excellent amenities. The house was clean and comfortable. Excellent location in a quiet street and within walking distance to the Pt Turton jetty and tavern. I would definitely stay again!

  Beautiful view from the front of the property short stroll to beach,jetty and tavern.
  Only downside was there was no screen doors or fly screens on the front windows to enjoy the fresh sea breezes but the property is about to get some renovations done
