THE PALAIS is a spacious 2 storey 5 bedroom modern holiday home that accommodates up to 13 guests with only a short walk to beautiful Simms Cove beach!

Upstairs:

Living area, TV with USB port (no dvd), reverse cycle split system air-conditioner, access to deck with a distant sea view.

Main bedroom with reverse cycle split system air-conditioner,  walk-in robe, ensuite with double vanity, walk in shower and w/c. 

Another 3 bedrooms, main bathroom with vanity, walk in shower, full size bath and w/c.

Child safety gate at top of stairs.

Downstairs:

Living room, TV with USB port (no dvd), reverse cycle split system air-conditioner, 1 bedroom.

Kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, gas cook top, electric oven.

W/c with vanity, laundry with top load washing machine and 2nd small fridge.

Family room, TV with USB port (no dvd), reverse cycle split system air-conditioner.

Pool table, access to rear deck with outdoor setting and hooded gas BBQ.

Bed configuration - Upstairs - main bedroom - queen, bed 2 - queen, bed 3 - 2 x bunks, bed 4 - 1 x queen,

Downstairs - 1 tri-bunk (double on bottom, single on top).

Pillows and quilts are provided, you will need to take your own linen - pillow cases, top/bottom sheets, towels, bath mat and tea towels

No smoking inside

Dog friendly - fully fenced

Refundable bond is subject to change and is increased to $600 during peak period

Located on the shores of Spencer Gulf, Moonta Bay is just 168 kilometres from Adelaide. Its beaches and jetty make this township a real draw card for families, holiday makers and fishermen alike.

Peak - 24th Dec to end of Jan school holidays and Easter: 4 night minimum stay
$495 per night
High - all other school holidays plus long weekends and also including YP field days (26/09/23 - 29/09/23): 3 night minimum stay
$295 per night
Off Peak - school terms: 2 night minimum stay
$245 per night

  3 wonderful holidays spent with our family at the Palais. Lots of room to spread out which is an advantage with 3 generations to accommodate. Clean well maintained with plenty of little extras to make our stay even better. It's a shame we needed to move to single story accommodation next year due to achey old knees.

  The house was well presented and clean. There were a lot more extras in the house than were mentioned on the site. A few issues with full rubbish bins, a broken bed and a dirty BBQ but apart from this it was a lovely house.

  Ten great friends enjoyed a very comfortable stay at the Palais located in a new estate at Moonta Bay. Walks along the top of the cliffs and along the beach from Sims Cove to Port Hughes and Moonta Bay jetties were beautiful. The house was well appointd with comfortable beds, bathrooms well laid out and a lovely undercover area at the rear of the house. Everything we required regarding catering for ourselves was provided. We enjoyed a great lunch at the Moonta Hotel, dinner at the Store in Wallaroo and great gin tasting and cocktails at the Sunny Hill Distillery. Pizzas at the Arthurton Hotel were very tasty and welcoming on a cold day. We would not hesitate recommending this property to anyone.

  Positives:
  - roomy (3 seperate living spaces)
  - modern property
  -great large bathrooms with awesome water pressure & no hot water issues even with a house full
  -heating was fantastic - very warm even though it was freezing outside
  Negatives:
  - very Steep stairs
  - uncomfortable beds (too soft & one very low to the ground)that were different in every room looking like old furniture had been dumped at this property instead of furnishing comfortably like in lounge rooms downstairs
  - very difficult to get in and out in winter as no front door key provided & had to go through side entrance where gate was almost impossible to open unless you had strong arms & were very tall
