EDITH'S is a 2 bedroom holiday home on the Esplanade that accommodates up to 6 guests with magnificent views of the bay!

Open plan kitchen with microwave, electric stove top, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dining, living area with split system reverse cycle air-conditioning, combustion heater (BYO wood) TV, DVD, radio, CD player, and a Breville coffee machine (BYO Beans).

Bathroom with vanity, shower, w/c.

Laundry with a front loading washing machine.

Front verandah with outdoor setting, gas bbq, plenty of room for parking and the boat, fish cleaning facility.

Bed configuration - bed 1 - King Size( see below note), bed 2 - Queen Size bed and1 x Single Bunk bed.

Pillows and quilts are provided, you will need to bring your own linen - pillow cases, top/bottom sheets, towels/bath mat and tea towels. (please note if you don't have king bed top/bottom sheets let office staff know and they can be hired for $35 -you will still need to take pillow cases and all other necessary guest linen)

Pt Turton has a General Store with general groceries, bait, ice, fuel, delicious baked pastries and take away food.

  our stay was perfect. the accommodation was all you could hope for - we`re not demanding - most of our holidays are camping! the weather waws fantastic, being the end of that long balmy dry period, and the neighbourhood quiet and peaceful. We so enjoyed the view of the bay, and the full moon which happened during our stay. A very restful time, which is what we were looking for.

  having spent many holidays at pt Turton, tried another location through AOY. Wonderful location with gorgeous views going all the way around the tip of the peninsula. Recently renovated bathroom/laundry areas with clean kitchen and family area. Overall accommodation was enjoyable and would recommend. We got lucky with weather, with no wind on the final 2 days of our 4 day stay. If the weather was windy, little area to sit outside out the back can be found if wanted. The sewer smell out the front was a little off-putting at times, but with the view, was something we got to ignore.
  Inside was clean, neat and tidy. Terrific open area from kitchen to lounge/family area. Bedrooms were comfortable in size as was the bed in the main room.
  Overall, an enjoyable experience.

  Edith’s place was a comfortable pet friendly holiday was nice and clean and the master bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed.The back yard was able to be closed off if you needed to leave your dog outside. Communication was very good.

  Located on the quiet end of the Esplanade and facing glorious sunrises. Inside is easy living, comfortable queen bed, many lovely touches to make you relax and enjoy the stay. The heatwave meant the bedroom overhead fan was appreciated and the one air-conditioner was close by in the living room.

  Beautiful location and across the road the ocean. Very relaxing home with just about everything youd want. Dealing with managers of the property was top standard responding quickly to any queries. My dog mishka lay for hrs on the beautiful lush front lawn just staring at the ocean. She loved it as much as i did. Would definately recommend staying at this property. Rick

  Great location, with excellent views. Clean and tidy, plenty of space for everyone.
  My personal only criticism is it needs a bit of an update. Mattresses and bathroom need to be updated. But please note, still fine but aging. Definitely recommended staying here.

  House set up well the third bedroom would be an advantage for poor sleepers. Same stained bad kettle from last stay. We took our own. Great view plenty of kitchen pieces to use. Good for those who want to go fishing. Bit of a steep climb if unsteady on legs. Some people may not like distance to shops have to drive.

  From the time we stepped inside we felt at home. Drawing back the curtains from the expansive windows provided the views we had hoped for. Calm waters with the white sands across the bay were glistening. Sitting under the verandah every sunrise welcoming in each new day. Quietness all about except for the local bird life was blissful. Dark stormy clouds did not distract from warmth and comfort provided inside the home. Beds were clean and comfortable. Home clean and fresh. Affordable accommodation with perfect views. Loved shopping in the local districts too and couldn’t help but notice how friendly the Yorke Peninsula are as well. The property managers were obliging when we requested to extend our stay , not once but twice... we didn’t want to leave! 100% recommend this property and location.
