Dream View - James Well

DREAM VIEW is a comfortable 2 bedroom holiday shack with lovely sea views that accommodates up to 6 guests.

Open plan kitchen with large fridge/freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine-BYO pods, dining, Kitchen, Living area and all bedrooms with reverse cycle split system air-conditioners, TV with USB/HDMI ports, no DVD, double doors that lead out on to the balcony.

Bathroom with vanity, shower, and w/c, laundry with sink - no washing machine. Outdoor setting, gas BBQ, fish cleaning facility, plenty of room for parking and the boat.

Bed configuration - bed 1 - queen bed, bed 2 - 2 bunks.

Pillows and quilts are provided, you will need to bring your own linen - pillow cases, top/bottom sheets, towels/bath mat and tea towels.

James Well is a small coastal settlement just south of Ardrossan, overlooking beautiful Gulf St Vincent.
Located approximately two hours drive from Adelaide, James well is popular with families for fishing, crabbing and as a great base to explore Yorke Peninsula.

There is a walking trail between James Well and Rogues Point to Pine Point, which is part of the Walk The Yorke trail.
James Well has a cement boat ramp for the fishing enthusiasts, suitable for launching at high tide only or you can head to nearby Ardrossan which has an all-weather boat ramp, from which you can launch at all times.
There are no shops in James Well but it’s only a short drive to Ardrossan which has a hotel, supermarket, butcher and much more.

Peak - 24th Dec to end of Jan school holidays and Easter: 4 night minimum stay
$145 per night
High - all other school holidays plus long weekends: 3 night minimum stay
$130 per night
Off Peak - school terms: 2 night minimum stay

  With this property you get what you pay for. The whole place needs a renovation. We arrived to a big cob web in the kitchen and dirty water left in the sink, chairs turns over on the ground outside in weird positions. We followed the instructions for the aircons however the ones in the individual rooms do not work. This place could be amazing with some love and care and could be a good investment If executed right...overal nice view this was more just a place to sleep at night so it did the job.

  This property was pretty much exactly what we hoped for - the only negative was the queen bed, very creaky and not very comfortable (we have an ikea bed at home that is much more comfortable).
  The views and quietness though, top notch.
  Id give it 5 stars if the bed was comfortable

  Three sisters getaway. Location fantastic. Views spectacular and totally different during the course of the day and night. 10min drive to nearest town (Adrossan-visitor info centre and museum is a must see). Bedrooms, lounge, kitchen/dining excellent. Bathroom needs a deep clean, mould along one wall. Exterior deck itself is fantastic, but huge cobwebs everywhere. BBQ had years of grime build-up of grease, didn't use. Overall for the price is good value, but wouldn't go there again.

  A lovely quiet location in James Well. The house is small and compact, perfect for the 2 of us but can also sleep up to 6 people.
  We had perfect weather to sit outside and enjoy the view from the balcony. A small complaint, is it would have been nice for the outdoor table and chairs to be clean, we did have do do this ourselves before using them. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Unfortunately if our cleaners go in a few days before a guest arrival to have the property ready, with the wind and birds over here it's an ongoing problem to keep the outside furniture clean.   Overall it was clean except for the coffee machine which had green mould in the water container. We clean it but decided not to use it.
  The bed was very uncomfortable and we both woke up with bad backs.
  None of the outside lights worked, so very dark when returning from dinner. Lots of tripping hazards.
  The outdoor furniture was covered in bird poo , so had to clean before we could use it.
  Wouldn't stay there again and not sure I would recommend it to friends.

  Our second stay at Dream View within three months was as enjoyable as the first time. We could relax and enjoy the view from inside when it was too cold to sit outside.The property was clean, the air conditioning worked well and we were comfortable. We spent one day exploring the peninsula and have now eaten at most of Ardrossan’s cafes. We can recommend the property and the management.

  We had an excellent time, enjoying the beautiful view whilst relaxing on the deck reading or dining. From the living area the view could still be enjoyed. The house was comfortable but still had a nice beach shack feel about it. It was lovely to walk on the beach watching the tide coming in, and to see the beautiful sunrise over the sea. James Well is a good place from which to take leisurely day trips on Yorke Peninsula. The property description was accurate and the property clean. We can highly recommend this rental.
