Istana - Absolute Beachfront

ISTANA is a comfortable 3 bedroom holiday home that accommodates up to 8 guests - maximum of 6 adults as 2 beds are trundles and are suitable for children only. Absolute beachfront on a small cliff top with excellent sea views .

Open plan kitchen with microwave, fridge/freezer, dining, lounge with TV/DVD, reverse cycle split system air-conditioner, bathroom with shower and vanity, separate w/c.

No washing machine - you can use the coin operated washing machines at the Point Turton Caravan Park.

Outdoor setting, gas BBQ, plenty of room for the boat.

Bed configuration - bed 1 - double, bed 2 - double, bed 3 - 2 singles plus 2 trundles (suitable for children only).

Pillows and quilts are provided, you will need to take your own linen - pillow cases, sheets, towels/bath mat and tea towels.

Dogs negotiable - $100 refundable pet bond will apply (property not fenced). You will need to contact office staff if you would like to take your dog.

This property is a short drive out of Pt Turton which has a General Store with general groceries, bait, ice, fuel, delicious baked pastries and take away food.

  We stayed there in late February. The place was very clean but as previously mentioned in the last post the barbecue needed a good clean and yes I do believe that the beds need to be upgraded to Queen size. Apart from that, it is a lovely spot, and will definitely stay there again, despite my previous comments. Thank you for making this property available for rent.

  This was our second stay. We love the location, the house has a lot of space and it's dog friendly. This time the cleaning wasn't as good. One bedroom smelt of cigarettes and the BBQ had a build up of fat and hadn't been cleaned. Also it would be a nice addition to have one queen bed with a nicer mattress the double mattresses were very thin and firm. We learnt from the first time and bought a thick pillow topper with us. We love the place and look past these things because it is a special spot. Thank you for making it available to us.

  We love going there evert Xmas is is so relaxing just wish they would get queen size beds as the doubles are really only good for teenagers not adults. Overall was a good stay although had a mystery animal steal our esky lol.

  Property was all we expected and the view was even more . 5 beautiful days of relaxing and de stressing taking in the surrounds and sounds . Istana has all you need for a great get away and is neat and clean and pretty well maintained . Dee from Accomodation on Yorkes was great as usual , even come round and replaced a couple of globes that had blown . Took a nice drive down to Marion bay and had a look through Inneston national park and saw quite a few baby emus and a couple of kangaroos as well . Berry bay was amazing as well as was Corny point beach ( not quite Flaheretys, local beach close to Turton ) . The only disappointment was realising our stay was over and we had to leave but as the title says We’ll be back soon .

  Had a great stay at Istana. Awesome spot and great shack for a few couples . Caught squid and gar out the front in the tinny. Plenty of dolphins to watch in the arvo and great meal and cold pint at the pub. Can't wait to come back !

  We loved our stay here, watching birds and the local sea life from the front veranda. The spacious home is comforatble and kitchen well equipped but need to bring all your linen and food. They have a good guide on what to bring. There is a dirt road to get to the home.

  We have stayed here 4 times and will be booking a 5 th stay shortly . Took my wife here for a Birthday weekend and as usual it didn’t disappoint . Well equipped holiday home with a spectacular view , dolphins swimming past and stingrays and we’re lucky enough to even see a seal . The open plan living is well set out and the bedrooms are clean and a good size. Sitting out the front just watching the water was nice , we forgot the fishing rods but still just enjoyed the view . The kitchen is well stocked with all the glasses , plates, cutlery and cooking utensils you will need . A spare gas bottle on site would be a great idea and maybe an updated BBQ . Location is superb and overall the house is clean and well presented . As always Dee and Sharyn from Accomodation on Yorkes were super helpful and a pleasure to deal with .
